Hawthorn Fusion: Pilates and Yoga-inspired mobility, balance and conditioning exercises incorporating functional strength and core moves to improve posture, circulation and breathing. Freestyle Fitness yoga-inspired flexibility exercises and occasional relaxation/ visualisation round sessions off . Equipment is available to purchase or hire but do bring your own mat if you have one plus water.
Moving Wisely: seated, standing and supported exercises, including mobility and balance, stamina, strength and flexibility. Using resistance bands, small bumpy balls, blocks and straps, this is particularly suitable for anyone living with a long-term health condition or recuperating following surgery. In a small sociable setting with car parking, heating and toilet facilities, the aim is to exercise safely, appropriately and with plenty of fun. Functional activities are used throughout and participants are encouraged to practice at home (handouts available)
